E m p l o y m e n t C a s e s : National Interest Waiver (NIW)
National Interest Waiver is a 2nd preference case option that works well for scientific researchers who are doing work of national importance, but who do not have a permanent job offer. This case option can be extremely helpful to a younger researcher who may not have enough credentials to qualify for EB1-1 (Extraordinary Ability) or the permanent job offer to qualify for EB1-2 (Outstanding Researcher/Professor). We have almost 20 years experience preparing NIW self-sponsoring petitions for professionals employed at such institutions as Harvard University, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Georgia Institute of Technology, Los Alamos Research Laboratory, the U.S. Department of Defense, Emory University, and Duke University, among others. We would be happy to review your credentials regarding this case option.
The criteria concerning approval of an NIW case can be found in the NY State Dept. of Transportation case.
For a free review of your credentials, please fill out the questionnaire below and return it to our office by e-mail or fax. (Click Here to fill out the questionaire.)
